The international trade show for interior and design, “MAISON&OBJET” is scheduled to be held from January 18 to 22, 2024, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France.
This exhibition, which began in 1994, takes place biannually in January and September, attracting companies worldwide involved in various lifestyle aspects such as furniture, lighting, textiles, interior decoration, and tableware. The event garners attentions as a hub where the latest information is gathered, and new business ventures are born, consistently drawing a large crowd of industry professionals.
The theme for the 30th Anniversary of “MAISON&OBJET” is “TECH EDEN.” Co-created with the creative strategic agency Peclers Paris, the theme conveys a dream-like optimism through form and color, focusing on futuristic biophilia and a new world of well-being. The exhibition aims to showcase a future where technology and nature coexist in harmony.
For this edition, 2,524 exhibitors from around the world have been announced, with 93 companies and organizations participating from Japan. In addition to returning exhibitors such as Edo Tokyo Kirari and Momentum Factory Orii, there are numerous first time exhibitors. The showcased products range widely, from artisan-crafted furniture and lighting to ceramics, woodwork, and various other Japanese crafts. Expect a diverse array of unique exhibits from different regions in Japan.

Aizawa Wood Works was founded in 1974 in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, as a woodturner specializing in making wooden vessels for lacquerware. They produce various items using a wide range of wood processing techniques, including sashimono (joinery), magemono (bentwood), rokuro (spinning lathe), and kurimono (hollowing).
